Model-it! week 4

This week is the final week of Model-it task :D

Th final submission was to construct the Fisher house in 1:50 scale. We need to include all the details of interior such as wall, windows and stairs. This was a time consuming task to complete the task in one week.  As modelling the house in relatively large scale, I could have a clear sense the volume and the space of the house.

In the studio, we were asked to present our models that we had created on individual desk and we also learned how to take a photo of our models using lights and background.

Throughout this model-it project, I have considered the relationship between house and surroundings, improvement of  my modelling skills such as cutting and sense of spaces and structures of the house a lot although my models were not perfect. This project really got me into the architectural communication through models and demonstrates deep relationship between house and models also drawings.
