This week is the final week for draw-it project! we were required to submit our final poster of project. It need to contain our chosen rendering method and precise drawings that we have done in the studio. I have rendered my drawings with watercolour and pen. With small details such as chimney and walls of the house , I used 2B pencil. The watercolour was pretty hard to handle with but it gives more natural image of the house as the actual house is surrounded by trees and standing on the hill.
I tried to watercolour sections and elevations with similar colour of real Fisher house (brown walls and green hills). Also, I used pen to draw shadow on the window on elevations. It created three dimensional effect hence increased the realism of my rendering.
As I have discussed with our tutors last week, I arranged the rendered elevations and a section in horizontal line at the bottom of paper to highlight the deep relationship between hill and the Fisher house. I drew axonometric view of each floor of house(basement, ground floor and second floor). I did some experiment with those drawings and the plan, and decided to arrange them next to each other. Thus, three pairs of plan & axonometric view aligned. I also wanted to add axonometric view of whole house and perspective view drawing of the house. To have sense of balance, I arranged them at left and right hand side on my project paper.
